Insecurity is Poison.

Insecurity is like poison. It spreads and kills the hearts of beautiful women one thought at a time. An idea is planted in your head and suddenly that idea develops into a growing seed. The seed takes deep root and becomes a habit. Here’s an example... Someone gives you a look. Just by that look you develop an opinion on THEIR opinion of you not knowing if the person was intentionally looking your way with negative motives. From this point on you mark an X on their forehead and never allow yourself to be vulnerable. By being vulnerable I mean you never give them a chance to see your heart or even worse get to know theirs. What a shame it would be to never meet lovely people because you never gave them the opportunity. Insecurity has completely taken over and left you with no say. Well, dear girls I’ve come to tell you that your mind has power but not power over you. Surrender your thoughts to the maker of all things.

"And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."  // Philippians 4:8

I challenge you to take control of what you allow yourself to think by letting your thoughts linger on what is beautiful and wonderful! Whenever a negative thought comes into your mind chooose to ignore that voice. Focus on the voice that knows you by name and knows the amount of hairs on your head. He will never fail you. We all have insecurities and doubts, but don’t let them paint you as anything less than what you truly are. Rise up in love and let what the Father says dictate how you live life. Walk confidently knowing you were fearfully and wonderfully made with purpose. Do I have insecurities? No doubt! But I will not allow them to prevent me from getting the best of this life. Fall in love with how you were made. There is only one you! And yes, I know what you're thinking.. "That’s easier said than done" Or "she clearly has it all together and I don't". Getting rid of these habits does take time but it's not impossible. You were created for so much more! Do not allow thoughts to paralyze your from your purpose!
