Dream on Dreamer

Dream on Dreamer

To Dream. The ability to see past today. To live beyond the breath in your lungs. To mold a future thats larger than our eyes can physically see.

Yesterday in the car while my brother and mother were both conversing, I rudely interrupted them with a thought.. "Is it sad that I'm already planning what my Childs nursery is going to look like even though I'm single and no where near the possibility of a family?"

My mother responded with the best response.. she said "No steph, it would scare me that you didn't dream. That you would be satisfied with just this..with your life now. When we stop dreaming, we stop living."

Immediately I felt a little convicted. I let my feelings jump in the way of HIS promises. Just because I don't see something in front of me does not mean its not on its way. "On its way" doesn't mean its an instant away. It means its there just not where I am. It exists and thats all that matters.

My mother went on by mentioning that when sink into a plateau of complacency we are unable to  walk into the destiny God has for us. For all that we see is the "now" and not what could be!

What is it that separates us from angels and other creation? We can dream. We can improve. We can change! this simply means.. THERE IS HOPE!

My mother encouraged me with this prayer. She said everytime I feel complacent or unable to dream that I would be reminded of Jabez's prayer in the bible:

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.

1 Chronicles 4:10

Believe with all your heart that God would grow your territory and stretch your dreams. That you would dare to walk and live for the impossible! Your story is not at an ending... ITS JUST BEGUN!

You are a dreamer!
